At our luxury holiday home park, you can own your own space, knowing that you can take a break whenever you wish throughout our long season, which runs from 1st March - 14th January every year.
Lightwater Tarns Country Park accommodates luxury lodges over a 5-acre area in the Lake District.
Each of our 20 pitches has been designed to accommodate the new era of 16/22 foot wide luxury lodges, with 12 having waters edge frontage - all have fantastic views of the lake. Each pitch has a concrete base, piped bulk gas, drainage, electricity, mains water and Freeview cable TV. Our site is WIFI enabled. Our own professional joiner can fit personalised decking if required.
With specialist design options, from a local family owned factory, you will be able to design your entire holiday home. The basic design is created around the size of your Lodge which will allow you to specify where you'd like your windows and doors as well as create your interior, so that your home is taylor made for you from start to finish.
In unspoilt Cumbrian countryside with the breathtaking backdrop of Whinfell and Howgill fells, you can enjoy nature on your doorstep, either watching the wildlife and their young swimming on our lakes, the fish jumping in the water, or walking on the many footpaths and surrounding country lanes. We have some excellent local walks, with St Thomas's Church within 10 minutes of easy walking. As we are only 1 mile from the A6, the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Pennine Way and M6 motorway are within easy access. (Windermere approx 15 minutes by car)
